Liria is an attorney-at-law at the Bucharest Bar with an experience of over 13 years in the Real Estate domain, with a high edgy specialization on property restitution claims. She is one of the most acknowledged and renowned lawyers at national level, in Romania, on restitution of properties abusively taken-over by the Communist regime.
She has a multidisciplinary integrative perspective of the Banking and Finance industry, having previously worked within three of the most important banking institutions in Romania.
Banking dispute resolution
Liria is a pioneer in the banking dispute resolution having won the first precedent case in Romania, Tomescu vs. OTP Bank, in a file involving abusive provisions in banking contracts and consumer protection legislation, in a credit contract for the calculation of the variable interest in CHF currency.
